I had a wonderful stay at Barceló Corralejo Sands—a modern, well-designed hotel that strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and family-friendly fun.

The Room:
Clean, minimalist, and comfortable—exactly what I look for in a holiday stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the Lindor chocolates left on the desk when I arrived were a lovely treat.  

Pool Areas:
The main pool is huge, with plenty of space to swim or float around (though the water was slightly salty). What really stood out was the kids’ pool area—complete with slides and, importantly, more sunlight than the main pool, making it ideal for parents who want to soak up some sun while keeping an eye on their little ones. No fighting for sunloungers here—there were always plenty available.

Food & Dining:
The breakfast buffet was outstanding—so many options, but the standout was definitely the fried milk (don’t miss it!). Evening meals were also solid, with themed nights offering a variety of well-prepared meat and fish dishes.
If you are going for all inclusive, right near the pool there is a bar with unlimited drinks, and food options like sandwiches, pizza, chips and nachos. At night time there is also a cart with sandwiches, drinks and snacks you can have if you have the all-inclusive package.

Extra Facilities:

• The spa looked serene, and they had some tempting offers during my stay (though I didn’t book a treatment).
• The gym was well-equipped—everything you need for a quick workout.

Final Thoughts:
A fantastic choice for families—great pools, delicious food, and comfortable rooms. The design and cleanliness made it feel premium, while the amenities kept everyone entertained. Highly recommend for a hassle-free, enjoyable stay in Fuerteventura.
